Diversity is a great thing. It’s an expression of our uniqueness. But how can our ultra-diverse culture keep the social fabric from ripping apart?
Education>Integration investigates new ways how we can better achieve social integration through concrete changes in the educational system.
The fifth edition of the Young People’s Forum brings young people in direct dialogue with policy makers and Parliamentary Representatives concerned.
The discussion will focus on 4 areas of social diversity:
> Financial Means and Economic Conditions
> Ethical Standards
> Physical/Intellectual Disabilities
> Faith Identity and Religious Sentiment
The two-hour Forum starts with a brain-blending session between participants who will later make their cases with the guest officials.
Wednesday 18 April, from 7pm to 9pm – Dar l-Ewropa, Valletta.
If you’d like to have your own say about any of the issues, let us know and we’ll send you the discussion points.
You might have an eye for detail, but do you have a heart for it?
In the clutter of our day-to-day cycles we easily overlook detail, but that doesn’t mean we are unresponsive to it. Quite the contrary, we only need a moment of stillness to sharpen out the little things around us that make everything else so meaningful.
Stupid or smart, bishop or babe; we all need some inspiration to look deeper between the lines running through our lives. Fortunately, this year is unfolding right-on in that direction!
Between November and June, the young church is cooking up a hearty experience to release the new flavours of the Word of God. And true to these sentences, archbishop Paul Cremona is also warming up to these moments of inspiration.
A first for the church in malta, Between the Lines is a unique encounter with the Word of God; a intimate convergence of the lines of your life with the lines of the scriptures.
Upcoming: Thursday May 10 - Zurrieq Centre, Courtyard. 8pm
